Red Hat Enterprise Solutions
Red Hat provides the tools, we provide the expertise in architecture, implementation and engineering and work with your IT to implement a customized solution.
As a partner, we maintain a close relationship with Red Hat at all levels. We are united by the aspiration to offer first-class IT solutions, to accelerate processes, to reduce dependencies, and to promote innovation by means of Open Source.
OpenShift – Industry-leading Kubernetes application platform
Red Hat developed OpenShift, one of the first and still the leading Kubernetes platform. Developers can draw on a large ecosystem of solutions to quickly and efficiently develop applications and your operations team can implement a highly efficient DevOps way of working. Red Hat OpenShift represents the optimal enterprise-level container platform for public and private clouds.
Following the guiding principle of “Code, Build, Test, Run” developers can also deploy applications, eliminating internal dependencies on operations and significantly reducing time-to-market for complex applications.
With the expertise we have gained from numerous customer projects, we will support your team in planning and implementing Red Hat Container solutions. In addition, we can help align processes to truly live the principles and benefits of a DevOps-driven container environment.
Ansible Automation Plattform (AAP)
To implement automation tasks, foundata uses Red Hat Ansible and its ecosystem. The pure open source variants can be used without vendor support, but from a compliance perspective, the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) offered by Red Hat is usually the more sensible option in enterprise environments, even though the open source upstream components are not functionally restricted.
AAP offers vendor-supported versions of currently seventeen open source components such as AWX (Orchestrator) or Automation Hub (Galaxy). In addition, Red Hat has partner-certified automation collections from numerous well-known manufacturers such as Cisco and VMware.
With our many years of experience in the use of Ansible in companies and public authorities of all sizes for the automation of manual IT processes of all kinds and our in-depth knowledge of best practices, we are the ideal partner to accompany the introduction of Ansible together with your team and to drive automation forward in your company.
Ansible uses easy-to-read and easy-to-version YAML as its primary declaration language and fits into versioning workflows. This facilitates the implementation of GitOps approaches as well as CI/CD and traceability (and thus compliance in general).
Ansible does not require an agent on the target system, which is a significant advantage over other solutions. Installing agents should not be a requirement in our opinion, as this limits the possible target platforms, consequently causing interoperability issues and increasing the attack surface depending on the implementation.
