Below is a curated list of projects we maintain or actively support, ranging from small utilities to core building blocks used in production. We keep our projects healthy with timely releases, and long-term maintenance.

Ansible (Galaxy) Skeletons

Ansible Skeletons help you start new roles and collections with a clean, consistent, and proven structure. Focus immediately on logic instead of boilerplate.

Ansible Lint (foundata extension)

Additional Ansible Lint rules check playbooks against foundata’s Ansible guidelines. The extension uses the standard ansible-lint command, with opt-in checks and automatic list-format fixes for conditions and handler topics.

Ansible: collections

We develop and maintain a set of Ansible collections providing reusable automation building blocks for infrastructure and application environments.

ConClear

ConClear builds, tests and scans OCI container images, then signs and releases the exact image digest that passed its checks. It applies foundata’s container release guidelines from a Linux workstation or CI, with signed SBOMs and release evidence.

DocSmith for Ansible

DocSmith is a documentation generator. It reads an Ansible role’s meta/argument_specs.yml and produces up‑to‑date variable descriptions for the README.md as well as inline comment blocks for defaults/main.yml (or other role entry-point files). It …

Hugo theme component: hugo-component-robotstxt

A reusable Hugo theme component to manage and generate the site’s robots.txt.

Hugo theme: dev

A Hugo theme for exampleSite content, component development, and testing. It is not a production-ready theme, but rather a sandbox for experimenting. It intentionally provides no styling.

Hugo theme: govanity

Vanity URLs for Go modules / packages with Hugo: simplifies building and maintaining a vanity base domain such as go.example.com or example.dev. Used on golang.foundata.com.

Helper scripts and tools to administer, provision and manage tasks related to INWX, a professional domain provider.

OCI images

We curate and maintain a growing set of OCI-compliant images, suitable for use with with Podman, Docker and other compatible runtimes.
